I’m new here. Pain relief tips for severe endo & chocolate cyst please?
Hi all I’m new here & really sad & frustrated to read how so many women are suffering unnecessarily with misdiagnosis & long waits for treatments. The pain I have experienced is just horrendous & I feel for everyone who suffers such chronic pain I’ll try & summarise my story. I’m 47 , have 2 children

Hi all I had total hysterectomy and Boston in April 2017 and was put on estradoil 2mg from day 2 of surgery. I have not had any of the usual side effects but over the last year had lack of concentration, fizzy head, visual disturbances that then turn into headaches, heavy head, tension in shoulders,

Endo and me
I was diagnosed with endo at 21 after suffering from the age of 14 with the most horrendous periods. Not understanding what a 'normal period' was you assume all is just that "normal". After numerous visits to the doctors I finally got a referral to gynaecology which In some way was a relief and in another

Scared
Hello special people. I'm scared. My OC returned despite being on maintenance Avastin after major debulking surgery and total hysterectomy. It's in my stomach lymph nodes, on my bowel, liver, peritoneum and omental area. I was told I might have another five years if the carbo and Caelyx work enough,

Bravest girl I know
Yesterday my fiancé said that I was the bravest girl I know. This is after a conversation with my mum about having a hysterectomy. I still feel very emotional about his comment and very lucky and grateful to have someone so supportive and wonderful in my life. X

Help!! Have I made the right decision??
So here’s the background! I had a hysterectomy in April where they found a cyst and endometriosis they scraped it away and left my ovaries. Everything was fine for 3 weeks then I started getting pain in my left lower side and back then every few weeks it’s in both sides and across my stomach like severe

Shocked is an understatement
Hi all, I posted a little while ago regarding my 'surprise return' after a total hysterectomy. I have since found out that i still have remnants of my ovaries and had to have an MRI scan yesterday and blood tests for ovarian cancer 😱 How on earth can this be? Anyone else been in this situation.

Hysterectomy success stories?
Heard so much negativity around hysterectomies. I get why. I know it doesn’t cure endo and there can be complications and it may not improve your symptoms. But I’m seriously considering it and would be doing it to help control my symptoms and take back my life. Anyone who’s had a hysterectomy and its

Any advice please
Hi everyone, I am new to this site, I'm looking for some advice please. I'm going to cut my story short, if not it would be so long winded. I have stage 4 endometriosis, my bowel is attached to my uterus. I have been given 2 options, 1. Start treatment to slow down my hormones. 2. Full hysterectomy

Do I don’t I - advice needed xx
Hi Ladies. I am 42 and had my right ovary removed a little over 2 months ago. It was 22cms in size. The biopsy came back at a Mucinous borderline Ovarian tumour stage 1a. My specialist has given me 2 options. To have a total hysterectomy and appendix removal or monitor with bloods and ultrasound every

Consultation advice
Hi all, I’m looking for a bit of last minute advice. I’ve got an appointment with a surgeon this afternoon and I was looking for advice on how best to convince him to try excision surgery. Last time I was there they suggested a hysterectomy as the hormone therapies don’t seem to work for me. I know

I have completed this app last year, since having a operation in May. I'm back to running. I've set myself a new goal I want to run a half marathon by the time I reach 50 year's old. I have 3 years to get to this. Is there any free apps like the C25k? Many thanks.

Concerns about inheritance of endo
I’ve struggled with severe endo for sooo long and I hope 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 my recent hysterectomy has helped. I have a daughter only 8 I must admit but I am understandably anxious she may inherit it. My mum had it mild and they say I got it from her. I’m really worried my daughter will go through what
