Hi. Sorry you are having a tough time. Try to see your GP and get some laxatives. I was on then for my first week post hysterectomy. The painkillers and the surgery will constipate. Maybe once you feel more comfortable you’ll be more mobile and generally feel better? I don’t do well on the strong painkillers. I feel numb and out of my body on them, so reduced to paracetamol and nurofen after a week post surgery.
Your body is going through a lot. It makes sense not to feel yourself for a bit. Maybe try and mention it to your gp too? They can check your hormone levels to see if the hrt is working as it should. I had to change to patches as the pills were not giving me high enough levels. It takes a while to feel yourself again but I hope you find ways to slowly improve how you feel.
Lactulose and prune juice helped me. You can buy lactulose over the counter at a chemist and prune juice from a big supermarket. It is also normal to feel low and fatigued as it is major surgery and your hormones will be all over the place. Take each day at a time and you will get there. x
