Hi I am 61 and my GP is threatening to take me off HRT. My HRT was changed to estrogen only 2mg in Dec 2019 after a hysterectomy and my consultant thought the GP’s would leave that alone but last month she said 6 months more and that’s it. I pointed out that The professor who looks after my osteperosis

Fibroids
So my wife is undergoing test and has been told she needs an urgent hysterectomy due to the fibroid being 12cm and the images being inconclusive. We have received a letter today saying that it’s a fibroid but could have sarcoma in it and therefore need to be removed. I am hanging on to the word “

Prostap & HRT
Hi all... I’ve had endo for 16 years.. 3 laps, one baby and multiple trials to control it later and I’m starting on prostap with estrogen only HRT in the next few weeks. Just wondered what to expect? I know you can have menopausal symptoms but my specialist said the HRT should stop or at least lessen

Septated cyst after total hysterectomy (ovaries too)
I had another scan today after being told by the gynae that a 4.7 cm cyst after a full hysterectomy wasn’t possible so is probably bowel related. This scan showed the cyst is now 5.6 cm cyst and is now septated, it has a small amount of blood in it but no idea what else is in there. Ultrasound lady said

I'm in so much pain and hope this zoladex

Has anyone had ovary remnant syndrome after a full hysterectomy? I’m wondering that if a cyst is found can it go away on it’s own? Tia x

1 year in remission (LGOC)
An awesome update, I had a CT at Christie’s a week last Saturday and it’s still all clear. So phew I’m now a year in remission. I will now just have a blood test in 3 months, my last CA125 was 5 but I should point out that it was only 37 at diagnosis and it was rife, including spots on my colon and a

brachytherapy without radiotherapy for endometrial cancer.
Hi All, recovering from hysterectomy. I have grade 2 stage 1b endometrial cancer. I have been offered radiotherapy on its own or brachytherapy on its own. My understanding is brachytherapy has less side effects on bowel and bladder. Has anyone any experience of this they could share? I worry to that
