Hysterectomy & bladder issues
Hi, I’m 42 and had a full hysterectomy last week. Op went very well but then I got a UTI which has been horrific. My gp prescribed fosformycin (powder) which works in 2-3 days and has helped hugely but this evening I feel like I’m going backwards. Pain in pelvis and feel like I need to pee and poo

Reoccurrence from Stage 1?
Hi all I hope you are well during this strange and weird time! I am writing on behalf of my mum who in feb this year was diagnosed with stage 1C1 cancer. She had a radical hysterectomy and her recovery has been great. She was told chemo would not be offered due to the low grade of the cancer. For

Hi all, can anyone offer me any help on my latest blood test results please? I had a hysterectomy in 2012, aged 39, as I suffered from stage 4 endometriosis. I also have an under active thyroid and take 117.5 mcg of levothyroxine and 1mg of Kliovance HRT. This is the 5th different HRT I’ve tried and

Hey ladies. I have my first consultation tomorrow with gynae and just wondering what type of questions I should be asking or whether from your experience there are questions I need to ask? I have had a couple of scans for which both reports states "a few small cysts and features suggests adenomyosis

recurrence?????
possible recurrence? I have been NED since November, ovarian cancer , stage 3 c total hysterectomy and just had a scan done on Tuesday. They found suspicious foci on bladder wall and sigmoid colon. One 5mm and one was 9mm. They suggest another scan in 6 to 8 weeks to see if things stayed same or grew

Anyone else have this happen?
Hi. I have clear cell ovarian cancer, the fun one. I have had the hysterectomy, oopherotomy whatever...in other words, there is nothing left there. I completed the standard carboplatin, taxol and avastin. I am on maintenance Avastin. My latest bloodwork shows CA125 increasing and gyno-oncologist

Hysterectomy- should I keep my ovaries?
Hi, I’m new on here, but most definitely not new to endometriosis!! I’m finally getting some sense from consultants around having a hysterectomy. I had a telephone consultation a couple of weeks ago (not face to face because of lockdown) The Consultant explained that I would need a full hysterectomy

Sticky Blood & Blood Pressure
Hi I have been trying to get treatment for the past couple of years for my ‘sticky blood’ but because I have had a hysterectomy and no strokes apparently I can’t be diagnosed with APS. I have way too many symptoms and wake up some mornings with partial sight and hearing loss. Also a cardiologist asked

CA125 results high again
Hi I haven’t been on here for a while. But you ladies were so supportive last time that I knew I could come back and ask. My Mum was diagnosed with OC last year. Following chemo and hysterectomy in September she was recovering well, her latest test results for the CA125 have come back higher. Not 3000
