Decaceptyl and Escitalopram (Cipalex/Lexapro)

Hi all,

In advance of bowel resection and hysterectomy in September, my gynae surgeon wants me to have a Decaceptyl 3 monthly injection. This should calm/reduce endo inflammation in area closest to my bowel and lowers risks of any damage when operating around the nerves which control my bowel, bladder and vagina.

I can deal (I think) with menopause symptoms as it's only a few months but I am freaked out when I read about possible heart rhythm problems when you have this drug when taking esciptalopram. I take a very small 5mg daily dose for anxiety. I know I am probably finding some super rare side effects here, but still worrying to read.

Has anyone had the dececeptyl while taking ecitalopram, or any SSRI drug? Also, any positive or not nightmare stories of time during injections? I'm afraid to say I mainly see bad ones but we all know there are plenty of positive experiences, just those people don't often take time to document the good, they are too busy enjoying their lives (and so they should be!) haha! :-)

Any help appreciated. x
