Yet More surgery
I have surgery booked for the 12th, they are going I. To see if they have left an ovary behind instead of removing everything a few years ago like they should have. But It also could be a remnant of an ovary regenerated and causing cysts to grow , has anyone had this done? Also I was told I’d be home

Can endo become active again 10 years after total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy?
Following a horrendous time on Zolodex, to reduce the bleeding endo, I had a total,
abdominal
hysterectomy
& unilateral, salpingo-oophorectomy ( remaining ovary with Fallopian tube removed ) A colorectal surgeon was also involved in my surgery due to bowel involvement.

Hi everyone. I am new here. I am quite scared and have no idea what to expect. I was diagnosed with an unknown cancer at the beginning of September but source was probably the ovaries. It started in April, thought it was ibs symptoms, gradually getting worse. Going for a pre assessment today and

Me and now my daughter...
I am 48 and have had endometriosis since as long as I can remember but was diagnosed when I was in my 20’s. I had an emergency C section for my son 17 years ago. After this the Endo grew into my abdominal wall. They at first thought I had a hernia so re opened the C section, only to find a mass. Biopsy

Feeling a bit frustrated 😔
I got my MRI results a month ago and was told I have got extensive endometriosis throughout my abdomen, my womb is bonded to my bowel and the tube to my left kidney is also affected which is causing the kidney to swell so was told I would be referred to St Mary’s Manchester for a hysterectomy and Stepping

Just to say to you all never give up and hang in there, we know our own bodies. Finally had a lap which revealed endometriosis on the right side, such a massive relief as since my hysterectomy 3 yrs ago where endo was removed from pouch of Douglas and the left side my pain continued on the right side

Sore lips on face
So In February I had two operations I had a total hysterectomy and bowel surgery due to stage 4 endo. Now I have started to get a symptoms that I used to get when I had it? I’m worried it’s coming back. I used to get really sore red lips that would burn and feel sore and itchy and achy legs anyone

I have had a total hysterectomy including ovary removal can it come back?
So February this year I had a major operation to remove everything ovaries, womb the lot. Plus bowel surgery. I had a stoma until August and I have recently had an operation to reverse it back. Just the other day I noticed I had similar symptoms to when I had endometriosis. I’m very scared that it’s

Tibolone after hysterectomy
Hi everyone I’ve just joined the group and it’s been really helpful reading all your posts. I’ve been diagnosed with adenomyosis after 10years of pain and heavy bleeding. I also have at least two fibroids. I’ve been waiting for a hysterectomy but after 8 months they offered me decapeptyl and tibolone

Post op blues
I’m nearly 4 weeks after a full complete hysterectomy. I’m on my own with no support. I’ve no friends or family members and haven’t been able to make any healthy connections no matter how much I’ve tried. My mood is going down hill fast. If it continues to I will get in touch with my doctor.

Hysterectomy is now shortened to a maximum of two month wait 😁 🤞 it enables me to walk again😀😀
Got the amazing news I'm finally getting my hysterectomy a lot quicker given all treatment is failing and I can't walk. I'm super excited about hopefully getting at least some of my life back today has been emotional (again) but I really really can't wait for recovery to be completed successfully and

More surgery for an ovary that isn’t there
Over a year and a half since my hysterectomy and I’ve just been given a consent form for an oopherctomy with tube removal or cystectomy. Only I’m not supposed to have any ovaries or tubes :( there’s a cyst growing from somewhere and ever though I’ve had all the scans they still can’t tell where. Really

My lovely Ann (not her real name) passed away on 2nd July and I am broken. She went to a&e with abdiminal pain and bloating 22nd Oct, had a CT scan which revealed a large complex mass on her ovary, probably cancer. Ann had debulking surgery 4th December, full hysterectomy, omentectomy, removal.of some

Another query?
Just a thought. Yet another one. Can anyone out there help, I would be really grateful. After all these years still constantly looking for answers to my pain. Along with fibro, underactive thyroid, kidney disease and irritable bowel, plus all the other extras we get, has anyone experienced interstitial
