Hi All,
First time posting so please bare with me, I had a hysterectomy 20 months ago at the age of 32 for stage 4 endometriosis, adenomyosis, and a bowel shaving after 12 years of fighting with doctors, during the hysterectomy I had my left ovary removed although I signed up to have everything removed, my right ovary was left, about 3 months after my op I started to feel pain coming from the remaining ovary, a scan last December found that the ovary has got endo back on it and now stuck and not mobile near my hip, I had a call from my consultant in march who agreed to remove the ovary and would be waiting 6 months, given everything that's going on with covid I appreciate there would be additional waiting times, however now waiting 7 months I called to see if there was any news to be told the waiting list is now 14 months, I am waiting for a call to confirm if that's 14 months on top of the 7 months already or if I have to wait another 7 months, but I am struggling, the pain is excruciating, I take morphine at night, I am managing to work, but the pain is getting more painful and more frequent, has anyone else experienced this? I am trying to get my doctor to agree to a scan to see what's going on as this ovary has always been prone to get cysts!! Any advise would be great.
