Pseudo-science practices such as homeopathy', '
naturopathy
' and chiropractic do not work for RLS. Be Wary of so-called “Alternative,” “Complementary,” and “Integrative” Health Methods. They will not help with RLS or probably any other disease.

Help me find a Neurologist in Orlando/Tampa area. Prefer someone open to dialogue and an appreciation of naturopathic medicine
I have PD for 10 years. I have been patient of Dr. Mischley for the last 3 years. I find her approach extremely helpful and I want to continue to follow her advice I haven’t seen a neurologist for a couple of years. Everyone I saw before was not helpful in the least but I feel i need to find someone

What is naturopathic nutritional therapy?

A time when banking and a daily commute from Crystal Palace into Canary Wharf, in London, were still the mainstay of my fabric, but not

4am and still up!!!
I don't post much because my RLS isn't too bad most nights.I tried adding that both my kidneys have failed because of catching Covid for the second time and already I have a number of health issues. I am on Peritoneal Dialysis and I am diabetic. I treat my RLS with 75mg Pregabalin, I know it's nothing

Appointment with Dr Robin Fackrell
I have an appointment with Dr Fackrell tomorrow morning and am feeling anxious. It's about my RLS and I am hoping that he will allow me to come off Ropinirol and start Buprenorphine. I am having to slowly increase the amount of Ropinirol I take to ease the symptoms. I am now taking 1.25mg a day in four

NAD infusion therapy
Is it save to have a NAD (nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide) infusion while taking acalabrutinib? My PA recommended I check with the pharmacist who was uncertain if it was ok. My fatigue is getting worse. Has anyone else found this to be helpful? Thanks!

Cogan's syndrome
Hello! Does anyone here have Cogan's syndrome? I was diagnosed last year. My symptoms started straight after my second COVID vaccine and worsened after my 3rd. I'm on Mycophenolate but think I'm becoming less tolerant to it. I feel sedated weak and nauseous. Has anyone else had this?

Need help
My name is Erykah I have lived with Lupus and APS for a long time. I also have several neuropathies. I have occasionally had a weird symptom when I pass water. It’s difficult to explain but sometimes I get this sensation in my hands like tingling or a very mild electric shock. It is very odd and I wondered

Cryotherapy
I’m wondering if wearing ice mitts or socks really does prevent neuropathy during docetaxel treatment? Our oncologist tells us that there’s no real evidence that the use of either of these can prevent CIPN from developing.

Hello ladies, After switching to docetaxel due to a strong reaction to taxol, I had a similar reaction although milder to the second docetaxel infusion. So now my doctor wants me to try nab paclitaxel. I know it’s supposed to be less allergenic but the risk is not 0 even with this one. I have a preexisting

Recent PGK1 and Terazosin Study
PGK1 and Terazosin has been discussed before on this site. A new study (link below) published on Aug 21st, 2024 The study, published Aug. 21 in Science Advances, presented evidence that PGK1 is a “rate-limiting” enzyme in energy production in the output-signaling branches, or axons, of the dopamine

Pregabalin -v- Tramadol
Hello lovely people I’ve been on Tramadol for over 5 years now and fibro just getting worse. GP has now given me a regime to come off Tramadol and has prescribed Pregabalin. I’m happy about this but wanted to know people’s experience of Pregabalin - does it work well for you 🤞🏻 I’m also on 50mg Amitriptyline

Sotalol
Has anyone changed their dose instructions ? I was originally prescribed Sotalol 40mg in morning and 40mg in evening. It's making me feel like a tired, worn out old zombie from the land of the living dead, on the other hand BP and HR are brilliant. Am planning to speak to my Surgery Pharmacist about
