I have been attending long covid course and some links provided by visiting GP was to this Dr. Howard Schubinerwebsite who said after reading his own book many people recovered if it’s all in our head but if real pain and it’s just a case of us learning to deal and cope with it can hypnotherapy help or solve this debilitating extreme pain and swelling stiffness and fatigue which restricts everything in my life?
has anyone tried hypnotherapy and did it help ?
I have only found it helped people with physiological issues in reviews who recovered they say.
Thank you 🙏

I have regular hypnotherapy sessions. I certainly feel energised afterwards but is that due to the hypnotherapy or just the fact that I have an hour of me time? Who knows but I love the feeling it gives me even if it's only for a day or so. It's very individual. All I would say is that one can feel quite vulnerable during it so it is essential that you have the full trust in your hypnotherapist. I saw a few before settling with the one I have now.
It may have started in my head, but it isn't there now, for me it's deep musculo-skeletal pain, stiffness and exhaustion. Well, I am 76 now!
I'm wobbly on my legs and have had 5 falls this year alone; I'm lucky in that I have no osteo porosis. I also have eye problems.
I have the start of arthritis in my hands and if I could get hold of Arthr, I would tell him to take his itis back! Stopping me crocheting! 😡 Grrrr!
I just don't allow it to get me down any more. I am content, in the main. As you can probably see, I don't allow the Fibro to rule me, and my totally inappropriate sense of humour helps!
For instance. Today's sweatshirt has a pic of an enormous foot with a wilderness picture of Bigfoot giving everyone the finger, and it says 'I Hate Humans!'😉
