hi , have just had my blood tests results back had to have them done because I take statins and metformin. My vitamin b 12 has come back at 746 which apparently is abnormal, as anyone else had high vitamin B readings when taking statins or metformin ?

Hi there, sorry I don't have an answer to your question. But I have a question if you don't mind me asking. Did your GP not explain why your B12 is high. And what are they going to do to lower it xx

I take both as well as insulin and truelicity. This month my b12 test has dropped to 200. It seems to be lowering rather than going higher

I also take metformin and statins. My blood shows lack of hemaglobin and red platlets. My specialist is not sure what is causing this as not cancer or leukemia seeing her next week and will suggest maybe B12 a problem.
