I wondered how people approach
exercise
to try to maintain their fitness. I am going to a respiratory physio as too much
exercise
tends to leave me rather fatigued and asthmatic. So I decided that my normal approach of pushing it, needed modification, so I sought advice.

YOGA... WEEK 2... BRAIN POWER.... Oh YES!
Well... let's start at the beginning Just as our body needs
exercise
to support it... so does our brain...Our brain impacts every single part of our existence. It needs nourishment and support. So, how can yoga support and
exercise
our brain as well as our body?

Breathing Exercise 2: How to cough up what's not supposed to be there...
When you first stop smoking, you may feel that you have more phlegm and mucus on your chest This may cause you to feel a bit rattly and as though you need to ' cough something up'... Doesn't sound very nice, I know but this is a good sign. At the end of the day, you are only coughing up what is not

Breathing exercise 3: To slow down a busy mind and help with a good nights rest...
The more you practice this breathing
exercise
, the easier it should become every-time.

I am doing winhoff breathing
exercise
daily in the night. Doctors are saying it is normal but I cannot control my anxiety and I don't know what I was doing at that time. Can anyone suggest any remedy or alternative solution. Thanks

How Long Does it Take Lungs to Heal After Quitting Smoking?
Diaphragmatic breathing (also called belly breathing) is another breathing
exercise
that helps increase pulmonary function. Doing this
exercise
can help clean your lungs after quitting smoking.

Still get breathless but is now a bit better since put on "water tablets" and betablockers increased to 2.5mgs.What sort of
exercise
is recommended to do. I do short walks around my local area. Don't push myself and take regular breathers. Hope that's OK. Thoughts? I'm 77

I’ve seen various articles saying
exercise
increases AST and ALT levels? I mean I’m not about to run the next marathon, but slightly concerned reading this as thought
exercise
would be a good thing to do. Many thanks :)

I was diagnosed with decompensated liver cirrhosis a few months ago. I came out of hospital about a month ago, from Ascites, jaundice and pneumonia. I am extremely upset by this and very scared. I have completely stopped drinking since my time in hospital. I could barely walk after leaving hospital
