Magnesium for anxiety
I have been taking 200 mg ( I break 400 mg tablet in half) of magnesium glycenate. I buy on amazon. Do not take any magnesium oxide, you won't get the benefits and you will get diarrhea.
It worked wonders for me. I took capsules. 300mg, one in the morning and one at night before bed, so 600mg daily. Mine contain Silica and are by Country Life. I get mine from Whole Foods Market
It's better to take Epson Salt baths. You may also drop a couple if teaspoons of Himalayan salt for other trace minerals. Take your bath 2 hours before sleep. If you cannot take a bath, soak your feet in a bucket. Magnesium is better absorbed by skin than a pill through your digestive track. I do 20 min x 3 per week. It makes a huge difference.
I have started taking it. No problem so far.
I tried magnesium Glycinate but it gave me an upset tummy and i was pretty 'wired' on it! Apparently this can happen to some people. It's worth a try though as you may be fine!☺
I take a vitamin D complex tablet, because I was not getting out to get enough sunshine and this summer hasn't been great weather here.
