Is this considered tunnel vision

Okay, so I've been stressed recently and I know that I am doing it to myself. I have dealt with really weird sensations and physical things because of anxiety. But I want to make sure I word this correctly:

Recently, I feel like I can be staring at my ceiling and then I will notice something in the corner of my vision come into play. Lets just say there was something on my ceiling like a dusty, glow in the dark star. Now clearly it has been there. But I have not been paying attention to it. Its like when my peripherial vision notices it, my vision brings it in to where it almost seemed like it move in the corner of my eye.

My question is does that relate to tunnel vision? Because maybe it was cut out of my vision temporarily or because I was not fixated on it in the first place. I've read online that anxiety can make your eyes play tricks on you and I believe it.

Robby36, you are worrying needlessly about your vision, what you describe is not tunnel vision. The central part of the retina at the back of the eye is called the macula and it has more receptors than the rest of the retina. So our central image is stronger and can subordinate peripheral images. But this does not mean we see nothing in the periphery of our vision and movement or other noticeable things soon attract our attention.
