Heart block

Has anyone had the unfortunate experience of ending up in complete heart block after an ablation. I recently had a PFA done by the world renown Dr. Andrea Natale at his clinic in Texas for aflutter and fib.

The only thing that was highlighted back in September last year from a 24 hour Holter, was possible borderline heart block.

Has anyone had heart block that hasnt progressed? My son has first degree heart block, via a defected gene which he inherited from his father, and he's checked annually. His dad has a pacemaker and complete heart block. I'm worry a lot about my son and what the future may hold.

I recently wore a heart monitor for one week and they detected an episode of complete heart block lasting a few seconds. I believe I was sitting down while it occured and did not feel faint or have any other symptoms. I think I may have coughed for no reason when it occured.

My daughter was diagnosed with heart block when she was a year old. I've found it really hard that so little information is available about heart block in children, and there is no specific group for affected families in the UK.

I have pauses of around 77seconds And my heart rate drops to around 35 bpm when I sleep relax. A normal daytime around 50 70 . I have a loop device in and they don't seem worried but everytime I feel dizzy and check my heart rate to see it low I panic. I know they wouldn't leave me if it was dangerous

Over a month ago ( 10 months post HA) the cardiologist noted a first degree heart block on my ecg ( nothing worrying) so reduced my bisoprolol from 2.5 to 1.25 ( which I've been taking for 4 weeks).

I had a few weeks ago ECG which showed that I have 1st degree heart block. Also, last year I was diagnosed with mild heart disease. My question is shall I make an appointment with cardiologist because of the heart block?

Hello, I’m 30 and have recently been told I have a first degree heart block. A holter has seen my heart rate drop to 30. I’m worried as I don’t feel the doctors are taking it seriously enough and are being really dismissive. I’m very active but now I’m scared to run at all.

Hi, I have just been diagnosed with 2:1 AV heart block following a week long Holter monitor.

ECG was performed in GP surgery straight away and the doctor said it was heart block . He has since spoke to the cardiologist at the hospital suggested stopping all tablets , supplements, BP tablets reduced to min dosage. Blood tests for thyroid next week.

I have had AFib since 9/23. I take Metoprolol, Flecainaide, Omeprazole, and Pradaxa. Hello I am moving country, and I will be unable to get Metoprolol 25mg It only comes in 100mg , it’s really not desirable to split into 4 , My EP wants me to stay on this dosage as it’s working and I’m highly sensitive to meds , last time med was changed ended up in the ER again with AFib I’m thinking

I am almost six months post PFA ablation for persistent afib and atypical aflutter. I have been doing well recovering from ablation with zero heart events despite a bad procedure outcome of pneumonia, collapsed lung,and resulting fluid in chest, requiring thoracentesis. Finally nearly resolved. 😮‍💨
