I noticed tonight i took my pill (atarax) around 7pm I had some bouts where nausea and anxiety tried to creep up but i managed to fight it off thank God. I do still feel a lil burning under my sternum and the upper part of my abdomen at times but im learning slowly but surely to accept it. i could use some encouraging words right now, its time for another dose but if i take it im fearful that i will wake up late for work . i got some prilosec for the gerd, i keep telling myself this is a good step forward, even if i may not feel like it

I am so sorry you have GERD. It is such an awful and painful condition. I think you have done really well to take your medication despite it causing side effects. I hope you were able to wake up for work after the second dose.
