Hi had another blood test, 3months of increased vitamins plus diet free of gluten/dairy & soya.CRP HS - 0.721 (3)

FERRITIN - 158.00(30-650)

FOLATEserum-37.9(8.83-60.8)

B12 active - 79.9(37.5-188)

Vit D - 110.0(50-250)

TSH - 0.130(0.27-4.2)

FT 3- 4.4(3.1-6.8)

FThyroxine -18.8(12-22)

Antibodies

Thyroglobulin -263.00(0-115)

Peroxidase -191.0(0-34)

From my last blood test I can see an increase of vitamins👍feeling better and managing tiredness usually in afternoons. T3 & T4 not much change so plan to take Di02 gene test see where that takes me. Had test at doc's for iron but they just say normal🤦I'm on L-Methyfolate & thinking of adding Iron Bisglycinate continuing with my regime inc. magnesium, bit D & B complex, omega 3(Algae)

Anything else I should be doing, I've been referred to endocrinologist as doc won't put my levo up.

Seeing him today for snoring so doubt they'll be anything happening there.

Thanks for all your help & info!

Your vitamins are looking pretty good overall.

B12 could be a little higher but it depends how long you stopped the B complex prior to blood test as to if you need a bit more.

Which B complex are you taking?

Why do you think you need iron?

Optimal ferritin is said to be 90-100 for best use of thyroid hormone so yours is already above that point unless your iron panel is showing low?

Free T4 (fT4) 18.8 pmol/L (12 - 22) 68.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 4.4 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 35.1%

Hopefully the DIO2 test will persuade your endo to prescribe T3 but you would also benefit from a bit more Levo.

Thanks👋 I only stopped B complex for a week prior to blood test as advised, I use Ingennus so far ok🤔 only one tablet so may move to two. No I've not done a private iron panel just wondered if I should but I'll leave for now & see how I fair.Yes I thought I need more T4 but doc reluctant to prescribe hence referral to endocrinologist which will be months away. I also have a referral to see specialist for sleep apnea😳 thanks for % makes it easier for me to understand. 👍

2x Ingennus would be betetr for your B12 for sure.

As your TSH is already below range then doctors can be very reluctant to add more hormone unfortunately.

The iron panel isnt urgent. See how things go.

I hope the sleep clinic wait list isnt too long!

Low iodine could be the cause of your thyroid dysfunction or even Soy under its 75 + names. I was made very sick on Levo, so I may be jaded, but it is a HORMONE, so I will tell to proceed with caution! Wish you well !
