Thyroglobulin

My thyroglobulin antibodies were over 4000 at diagnosis. Over the years I've slowly managed to reduce them by changing my diet, introducing T3 etc. My last blood test in September 2022 showed slightly elevated T3 levels so since then, I have slowly reduced the dose.

My thyroglobulin antibodies are high three years after removal does that mean I now have hashimoto disease?

I'm going to see a rheumatologist early April he had ordered some blood test before my initial appointment he ordered anti thyroid peroxidase which came back at 638.9 and a Anti thyroglobulin which is 107.1. I'm kind of scared seeing these numbers

What do thyroglobulin and peroxidase antibodies mean? These are my last two sets. Been told I have hashimotos. Thank you

Hi my recent blood results are : Plasma TSH level 1.62 mu/L FT4 Plasma free T4 level 12.4 pmol/L [6.3 - 14.01] Thyroglobulin antibiodies are 228.9ku/L I’m on 125mcg of levothyroxine I’m in the UK please can you tell me what the above says ? Thank you ☺️

My thyroglobulin results and thyroid antibodies results won't be available until 5/1 and I just wondered why they take so long.

Hi everyone What are thyroglobulin antibodies and what range should they be in? I know that my thyroglobulin has to be under 0.1 due to cancer and that thyroglobulin antibodies can affect the thyroglobulin result.

Very high thyroglobulin antibodies since at least 2017. We did a trial of gluten free which reduced the TPO antibodies but didn't affect the thyroglobulin levels - or if they did, they were still outside the range. He takes very little gluten now.

Recent Medichecks blood tests showed the above and came with this comment "Your thyroglobulin antibodies are positive. These antibodies are associated with autoimmune thyroid issues, especially Hashimoto's." I started off overactive c22 years ago then had RAI treatment so now underactive.

antibodies 285 iu/mL (<115) Thyroid peroxidase 14 (<34) Thyroglobulin is a bit high but what I would really like to do is to increase T3 .

First had elevated thyroglobulin antibodies in 2013. Had clinically hypothyroid results in 1990s but GP chose not to treat. In 2017 TSH and T4 were clinically borderline and thyroglobulin antibodies were 435 KU/L (normal: <115).

I was diagnosed 14 months ago and last had blood tests in October which were all borderline but ok, other than my antibodies which were… Thyroglobulin Antibodies were 268.9 and the Peroxidase ones were 63.2. I take 25mcg Levothyroxine am before food.

So this leads me to believe that, because NDT is taken orally, the release of T4 in the stomach could well be delayed because the stomach enzymes degrading thyroglobulin are not the same.

I have hashis as Thyroglobulin antibodies are 258 and TPO 303. I am on the AIP diet, all testing is done before 9am, fasting, no vitamin b or biotin containing supplements in the 7 days prior to the test.
