  • You have high antibodies, so have Hashimoto's. If not already on gluten free diet, you may (like many of us) benefit from doing this. It might also help keep vitamin levels up. Selenium supplements can help too

Your vitamin D is too low, aim for level of about 100

B12 & folate also too low. We seem to need B12 around 1000. When supplementing B12, recommended we also take B complex & this will help improve low folate too

Only start one supplement at a time. Wait at least 10 days before adding another

  • Thank you Slowdragon, that helps, thanks for advice, have ordered NDT, not sure how much to start with.

  • Personally I think it far more important to first get vitamin levels much better & address diet/gluten issues

I tried T3 & NDT some years ago - both were a disaster- caused adrenal burnout - I had undiagnosed low vitamin D and gluten intolerance (more on my profile)

  • your B12 may or maynot be an issue - grey area and what counts is symptoms.

overlap with thyroid makes evaluation difficult. there are some other tests that can help clarify - homocysteine and MMA - waste products that build up if cells don't have enough B12
