Darkmom, Methimazole has brought down your FT4 although your FT3 is still slightly elevated. TSH in hyperthyroid patients can take a long time to recover even after RAI.

Your vitD is deficient. If you haven't been prescribed D3 by your doctor you should supplement. I suggest 10,000iu for 6-8 weeks to build levels and then reduce to 5,000iu daily and repeat test in 6 months.

Darkmom, sorry I don't have answers about weight loss. If hyperthyroidism or Methimazole caused weight gain then ablating your thyroid and stopping Methimazole should stop further weight gain and you may be able to exercise to reduced weight. Unfortunately becoming hypothyroid will slow your metabolism which will make weight loss difficult.
