I have had IBS for 2 years. I am on permanent Colofac. I have never had a blood test, what would a blood test prove? Thank you.

how many times have people been to the doctors asking them to make sure it is IBS and do some other tests than bloods before you gave up?

I am now on my third or fourth visit to the doctors and all i get each time is we will do blood tests never anything else.

Change of time makes a difference

have had a pain on waking on left hand lower abdomen and terrible lower backache, had blood tests, waiting for results and going for scan.

could this be ibs. dont have any problems ie., going to toilet. stomach is bloated, sometimes. but also getting weakness in legs and pain in buttocks
