Help Needed with private blood tests- Desparate!
Ok, only my second post and I'm afraid it's going to be an epic! I have been taking levothyroxine for approximately 4 years and my symptoms seem to have been gradually increasing. I take 125mg daily (at night). In the last 6 months I have been back to my doctors on several occasions telling them that

Zinc
http://thyroidpharmacist.com/articles/nutrient-depletions-in-hashimotos-v-zinc Very interesting article about zinc by Izabella Wentz. It says here that you need optimal zinc to be able to convert T4 to T3. So, that's another test to add to the list!

Tired. Feel like giving up the battle.
This is my first post here. I signed up yesterday. I've been battling this shit for 10 months now. I've been more or less home bound because of it. For 10 months. I've been struggling with varying conditions during this period. At first, it was suspected SIBO. Antibiotics got rid of it, and I was happy

Hashimoto's
I have Hashimoto’s. I have been on T4 for over a year. I am currently on 100mcg for the T4 and10mcg for the T3 but I have quite a few problems that I don’t know what to do about. Low ferritin - Iron deficiency? I have been told I am iron deficient because of my low ferritin and given ferrous fumarate

Are supplements causing a reaction?
Hi I am taking the following Jarrows supplements: B-Right, Methyl Folate & Methyl B12 together with calcium, magnesium, zinc, biotin, COD liver oil with A & D vits. I also take propranolol for migraines. The Jarrows items have only been added in the last month. Has anyone experienced an all over rash

Cold sores/Herpes simplex
I have read lately that some of you are suffering from cold sores. Aren't they not the most horrible things to suffer from ? I have had them often since childhood and at times they have been so bad that I can't even eat and have had to drink through a straw. At times I have had them very close to my

Are HypoTs Slow Oxidizers?
I read something interesting about different types of vitamin and mineral supplements and why people with different Metabolic Types need different forms of vitamins. For example,Slow oxidizers should take Ascorbic acid only because they are too alkaline whereas Fast oxidizers should take Sodium ascorbate

Some months ago I shared my blood tests and also talked about my generalised anxiety. https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/132400326/help-interpreting-results Several weeks ago I had another blood test, and I’m posting my new results next to the old ones: TSH [0.34 - 5.6] 21.61 mlU/L ===

SR-Adrenal?
I am currently hesitating between Nutri Adrenal (recommended by many here) and SR-Adrenal. The latter contains both vit C, vit B6, vit B12, copper, zinc, eleuthero root, panax ginseng, rhodiola, and ashwagandha, along with adrenal substance and cortex. I like the idea of taking a supplement containing

Statins are the biggest money spinner in the world, no wonder that they want us all to be on them, money money and money!!
My Mum was on statins, she had dementia, a very clever woman indeed, if I had known what I know now, I would never have given her a statin, or the calcium tablets. Both of which contributed to her death. Good article from the Daily Telegraph, but there is so much info out there, as to why we should

Do I have Hashimoto's or CFS?
That's the question I am pondering over at the moment. Hope that some of you may be able to offer some wisdom – to help out, this is the story so far (this is long – very sorry!): On 19 February 2015 I started to feel like I was coming down with a viral infection. There were things going round the office

Ordering a-Syn blockers in bulk. Master list of nutrients for PD.
I'm going to order the following plant extracts in bulk from China as powders and mix them for storage and later mixing in drinks. I'll dump the powders in a 5 gallon bucket, shake, bottle, and label according to FDA. I'm already taking about 2/3 of them. Let me know if I'm missing anything. I
