What to take after laparoscopy?
Hi guys, I am having adhesiolysis and excision surgery on Friday (15th Nov 17). Is there a high chance of the endo coming back after this surgery? How long have people stayed in hospital after this surgery? - If it is a long stay, then how long were you in hospital and what did you pack to take to hospital

Apixaban side effects
I'm new to the site and would be grateful of advice please. Have been taking Apixaban for two years as a precaution after episodes of AF. I spend a lot of my time gardening and with DIY. If I get a skin wound from these activities it seems to take ages to heal up? The wound does not seem to scab over

. The only remedy I use is washing my whole body everyday with a shampoo several times. My physician does not know what to do either. Note that I am in Iran with much limitations and under international sanctions. I would be much grateful if anybody helps.

Consented but changed my mind after research
I have consented to my surgery adhesiolysis and excision removal of endometriosis They asked me if I wanted the Mirena and I said yes but after researching it I don’t want it because it has the same hormone in it as microgynon and that didn’t agree with me. Can I still have my excision surgery if I

Please listen carefully if you are about to have a laparoscopy
The
wounds
will itch like hell and if you take piriton everyday during your recovery it will definitely help the itch! 3. Get some anti sickness tablets. You may be in a lot of pain and will need some strong painkillers such as tramadol and the last thing you want is to be sick!!!

Leaking lymphorrhea
My MLD practitioner says that the leaking patch in breast which is engorged with lymph is lymphorrhea. I am having to change dressings on the area several times a day. 7 months after mastectomy and reconstruction, surgeons and doctors seem to have no cures or even ideas. Does anyone share this problem

Wounds is healing quickly or not for diabetic patient
I met accident last week and the
wounds
in my hands and legs are healing normally. Does this mean I'm free of diabetes or diabetes stage is not in dangerous level. I do not check myself up the past four months although my result by accucheck is normal though. Pls comment

CRT-D fall and Recovery.
I have had my CRT-D device fitted almost 4 weeks now. Everything is going well, no issues with the pherenic Nerve and no rejection issues. Wound has healed nicely and I have started to use my left arm a bit more. Yesterday, I tripped over my own feet and hit the concrete path like a sack of spuds. I

Getting out and about after laparoscopy
Hi, I'm due to have a diagnostic laparoscopy just before Christmas. I have had booked some theatre tickets for months as a 'thing to look forward to after surgery', but now my surgery date has been moved to the day before! I know I will have to take it easy, but do you think I'd be able to manage a couple

Blocked bowel
I had an op for a blocked bowel two weeks ago caused by adhesions from my hysterectomy. I came home yesterday with a vac machine that removes liquid from the wound, which has split open. Has anyone else had one of these? Also, the pain is much worse than when I had my hysterectomy, probably due to the
