He also wrote the following:

O God, our loving Father, help us

Rightly to remember the birth of Jesus,

That we may share in the song of the

Angels, the gladness of the shepherds

And the worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate and open the

Door of love all over the world.

Deliver us from evil by the blessing

That Christ brings, and teach us

To be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning make us happy

To be thy children and the Christmas

Evening bring us to our beds with

Grateful thoughts, forgiving, and

Forgiven, for Jesus’s sake.

We must all remember the True meaning of Christmas. It is not about the gifts nor the decorations. Christmas is about Jesus, not only the miracle birth, but also the crucifixion. There is a song google it the title of the song is

"It's all about the Cross"

The first line is

It's not all about the manger, where the baby lay.

The birth of Christ is part of the meaning, but the true gift is, that Jesus gave his life for us, if you accept him as your savior, then that is the best gift you will ever get!
