I had my gall bladder removed via keyhold surgery nearly five weeks ago and had infected wounds afterwards. Felt absolutely dreadful and After two courses of antibiotics I am struggling to regain strength and still feel quite weak. Any advice would be appreciated.

Gall Bladder surgery
Do you also have PMR or GCA. This website is for sufferers of these conditions. There may well be a more appropriate site for people who have had gall bladder surgery. If you do have PMR then a little more information would help, like how long have you had it? And what dose of Prednisalone are you currently on? Any advice would be linked to these factors.
You certainly have had two major stressors and you would definitely feel a PMR response, which probably means more Pred but we need more info. It must be awful, so sorry for your suffering.
I had gall bladder surgery and ran into the same problem, a Consultant who was standing in for the other Consultant, advised me, that if I could afford to buy VSL#3, they would help me to replace all the good bacteria fast. I did, although my regular Pharmacist had never heard of it. 10 packets and it was like a new me. I also bought Yeo Valley organic, pro-biotic yoghurt which has L.Acidopolous in it, but a short life.
Anti-biotics knock our all bacteria, goodies and baddies and we need to replace the goodies as fast as possible. I only wish that all the medics would tell people when they are issuing anti-biotics, then we would know and could help to replace with the Yoghurt, or if you can afford the VSL#3, each little packet contains over a billion goodies.
Me GCA 5 years, coming up to 7th in remission.
And apparently kefir is loaded with far more varieties of good bacteria than yoghurt.
