Just sharing pictures of swelling and lap wounds for people that would like to see.

The swelling is the day after lap and the wounds are 3 days post op.

I’m feeling ok now.

Starting to feel much more mobile today.

Perhaps the two most bothersome things now are

1. They didn’t find endo, and

2. My period was due yesterday and hasn’t started. (I know this can be messed up but I really feel like it’s coming)

I’ve been referred for an MRI to look for adenomyosis. I am afraid. But I’ve found the best way for me to manage anxiety, is to take one thing at a time and not get too ahead of myself.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry to hear that. It is not easy to deal with. I actually had my period right before my lap/during recovery. It may just take a bit for it to come since your body was under so much stress, as you know.

I have yet to have an MRI, so good luck to you with that. I'm sorry you are afraid, but you are right in trying to take things one step at a time.
