Help please!!
I was just wondering if any of you ladies could tell me how soon after a diagnostic laparoscopy can you safely have another diagnostic laparoscopy? I have one surgeon willing to carry out a second diagnostic laparoscopy for me but doesn't hold any faith in finding anything as I had a clear laparoscopy

You have to keep fighting
Having gone from head in hands, to crying, to blind panic today I know that's I must not throw down my sword, my
wounds
will heal and if I practice hard I will win the battles in the future. Matt

New Sensor Inserted Tonight: DEXCOM (Nuevo sensor insertado esta noche: DEXCOM)
I just inserted the newest sensor just now-- tonight. The system for the DEXCOM is in the warming up period, so I thought I'd start typing this posting while I waited for the time to come and then do my calibrations that have to be done afterwards. Sólo inserté el sensor más nuevo ahora mismo - esta

Help with post radiation wound healing
More importantly, there are still two open
wounds
(about 1" wide, 1/2" deep). We are deeply concerned that almost six months after lumpectomy, this is the situation. The doctor after consulting with plastic surgeons, is now suggesting skin grafting or the use of a flap.

3 days post lap with successful endo removal
The
wounds
hurt - I am wearing my boyfriends pj bottoms so they are looser. My shoulders have been very stiff and sore from the gas, but this seems to be wearing off also. I didn't bleed much the day of the op, or saturday.

Totally without scientific proof!
I started using essential oils to make up a rub for my sore knees (injury now passed) then progressed to using them in a burner for nice smells in the wintertime. I've found if I use peppermint oil in the burner it feels as if I've just eaten something pepperminty rather than making me want to eat something

Fearlessly walking through the fear
I'm getting ready to go out of the house for an hour or two. This is very hard for me,due to the depression. I'm realizing from not going out for so long, have hard time. But I'm detoxing from methadone and need support. I shouldn't do this alone, I know better. How do you get past the low self esteem

Leg ulcer Lipodermatosclerosis
I am currently awaiting venous closure surgery, I have Lipodermatosclerosis, I've been wearing my compression tights every day, and have come away for a break for a week, but now noticed I have a leg ulcer? Should I still wear my compression tights and use my emoillient cream? I'm quite scared! I have

Endo, polysistic ovaries and Interstitial cystitis
First off they refused to dress my
wounds
and then the doctor came in and told me to stop crying because people have it a lot worse. He found two pouches of endo that he removed and I have a lot of endo over my womb that he didn't remove.

Update
Hello everyone, i dont post a lot but i sure do read a lot. I am a 54 year old woman, and i had my ablation in June. I have had two episodes of afib/tachacardia since. One directly after the ablation and one due to alcohol. I have since learned that a couple light beer don't bother me, but strong drinks

Why wasn't mine treated?
Hello ladies, me again. As I've been reading other posts, something sprung into my head. I had my diagnostic lap 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with moderate to severe endometriosis. I have an appointment on the 22nd December to discuss further surgery. However I've read that other woman had stage 3/4

Getting fed up
Hi all, I've not been on for ages. I'm feeling a bit low at the amount with all this weightloss stuff. I've been working hard for the last few weeks. I eat about 1500 calories a day & do 10,000 steps daily plus some strength training but am finding my weighg isn't budging. For the last 2 weeks I've lost

After/Before pics-- post op foot
Surgery is complete and I am doing very well. Everyone on my surgery team was incredible. The anesthesiologist kept me mostly awake as I asked and my dear friends (former co-workers) took great care of me throughout. Now it's on to healing. The doctor is making me take off 2 weeks of work. Guess I won't

My anxiety - my scar
Here is a post I wrote a couple of years ago. I occasionally look back to give myself strength. It is very metaphorical but it helps me understand. My anxiety - The scar that unravels. My anxiety is like a wound in my heart. It is the result of my parents divorce: the shock; the secrets; the change
