I am currently awaiting venous closure surgery, I have Lipodermatosclerosis, I've been wearing my compression tights every day, and have come away for a break for a week, but now noticed I have a leg ulcer? Should I still wear my compression tights and use my emoillient cream? I'm quite scared! I have booked into see my gp when I get home in a week?

Are you somewhere that you can check out the Lymphoedema Support Network site? They have advice about using compression garments when leg ulcers develop and they have a helpline. Good luck xx
