GCA and arterial stenosis
I am told I have arterial stenosis - caused buy GCA and Predisilone - I have two different blood pressures on each arm - 146 on one and 122 on the other. Should there be any action regarding this - should I be taking aspirin for instance? GP hasnt commented but then our GPs are overstretched and I

Bladderwrack and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment?
I have read good things about bladderwrack (seaweed) and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment - for pain and for apparently shorter menses. Has anybody tried either? I actually bought some bladderwrack, but then stumbled across information that the iodine in seaweed may affect the thyroid/thyroid

I am a month in to my new companion Mr T, I had my MRI scan and will see the ENT consultant on the 19/6/2017. Sadly, I am totally deaf in my left ear following an acoustic neuroma 30 years ago. During the day I have high pitched hissing and when I go to bed I get tubular bells playing high pitched constant

Stretta procedure
I am new to this forum and was diagnosed with hiatus hernia, gastritis and acid reflux following a gastroscopy. I've also had manonetry and PH tests and barium swallow. Tomorrow I have a Stretta procedure and would be grateful if anyone can tell me about what happens afterwards. I will be on a liquid

Is this alchalasia??
Hi my name is Denise. On April 25 of this year I started developing issues with swallowing and in a matter of days I couldn't swallow that well. Solid food would get stuck and liquids come back up. I saw a gastroenterologist on May 10 and had an Endoscopy and a modified barium swallow done and both came

acid reflux
Hi there, I had an oesophagectomy 3 years ago. I take Lanzoprazole 30mg twice daily. I am having the most vile acid reflux, it wakes me up and then I am unwell for 2 - 3 days afterwards. I have had a barium swallow, and a chest x-ray, nothing was found on these. Has anyone any tips for stopping the acid

Hello ladies Hope you are all doing well and pain free x x x I've recently come off the coil due to pelvic pain from it as an object. High days, hell days and magical thinking
Some days I think I've cracked this and I have reached the nirvana that is habituation. I have days when the tinnitus is so low or when it's moderate and I can get away from it by focussing on other things or somehow, even though I am aware of it, it doesn't bother me. Magical thinking indeed. This
