Bladderwrack and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment?

I have read good things about bladderwrack (seaweed) and pine bark extract for endometriosis treatment - for pain and for apparently shorter menses. Has anybody tried either? I actually bought some bladderwrack, but then stumbled across information that the iodine in seaweed may affect the thyroid/thyroid medication, so I'm reluctant to try it until I find out more. You only need a half to one tsp per day however, so it 'may' be fine.

I'm currently trying the Morena coil (4 months so far) to see if it helps as it did in the past, but only minimal relief so far with period pain. Daily pain however it hasn't touched so far.

Hi ive just read your post regarding pycenegol, have you had any luck with it? I'm thinking of starting it this month. I'm also starting to take Endo Complex by Wild Nutrition that contains a bunch of other stuff thats meant to help.

Oh im sorry to hear that. Someone else on here said they had had luck with turmeric, pycenegol and ginger. I've just ordered these from wild nutrition wildnutrition.com/products/... no idea if its any good but the lady that created the formula and started the company has endo and wrote a book on it so might be worth something.

Hello sip1!!!Have you tried bladderwrack afterall???? I started taking one capsule a day 3-4 weeks ago. I had my period for the first time after 10 years in May 2022 (following an induced menopause for 2 years and hormone treatment of 10 years), it was so painful. Then in June 2022, my period was shorter and less painful. I thought it must be bladderwrack doing its magic! However, as far as I know, I have normal thyroid functioning, I am a bit worried if I am ruining that by taking bladderwrack tablets which have high levels of iodine.
