Gallstones
Hello again š Well I didn't expect this! I'm just out of A&E after a gallstone attack. Excruciating, until the morphine kicked in. I've been given strong painkillers and antibiotics. I'm a bit miffed, as I've been following a Low Fodmap, anti- inflammatory, pescatarian diet for as long as I can remember

Another round of Covid vaccine in UK ā¦..
News of a new variant and adapted Covid vaccine is in the UK media to-day, raising the question for me whether to get it or not. Iām nervous as I recall my PMR starting 2 days after my very first jab (Pfizer) - my system was in a very stressed state at the time. I am currently half-way through 5-week

Recovery after cholecystectomy
I had my gallbladder removed (keyhole surgery) a month ago. All went well but pain has been worse over the last week or so. I do suffer from chronic constipation which doesn't help, but operation sites, particularly navel, still very painful. Is this normal?

Stomach upset after treatment
There have been many posts about heartburn and indigestion when taking Venetoclax and I have perused those. But I am UMRD- after O+V and last week suddenly started to have acid indigestion and heartburn. In the morning I have a constant need to clear my throat as well. I have been taking Tums and

GP failed to inform me of Chronic Hep C positive test result for 7 years?
I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep C in 2007 after my GP requested a blood test, as I was suffering with shortness of breath and severe anaemia symptoms. The results came back saying I had "chronic active hepatitis". Now, I would have thought that due to the severity and the fact it was a "Virus" that

Chicken Pox Exposure
Iām on 3.1 mg of Prednisolone for PMR. My son has just asked us to babysit our 18 month old granddaughter, who was vaccinated against Chicken Pox ( live vaccine) 4 days ago Iām not sure if I should babysit or not. Is there any risk involved in being close to a newly vaccinated baby and if so how
