Life after pramipraxole
I got off pramipaxiole a little less than a month ago. Withdrawal was hell but worth it. My life has greatly improved. I am working on a a very low sugar and gluten-free diet. My sleep has improved so much! I do think diet is very important with this condition. Life can be good again, but it is hard

Weight loss, again
Hello all I realise that this post got long, so I'll summarise here, and then expand afterward: thyroid treatment now probably optimal; low resting metabolic rate; how to lose 15-20 kg? So, now, I feel well enough to try to lose weight again. Yes, it is real weight, not retained fluid. I'd like to lose

California wildfires and stress/- update
I live in Northern California and have been enduring power blackouts for weeks. Today we have the 4th blackout in 3 weeks and are being told the blackouts could go on go another month as there is no rain in the forecast. Thank goodness no fires have started near me and I haven’t had to evacuate!

PCOS but low weight. Recovered ED, will I gain weight?
All the pages I've followed have ended up being heavily focused on
weight
loss
and
diet
. I've only recently recovered from an eating disorder and am struggling with this. Is anyone aware of some good support pages not focused on diet?

Stomach pain during night
I have just started a plan to lose about a stone on LCHF. As usual I woke up at about 4 pm with burning stomach pain. It feels as if my stomach acid is burning stomach because there is little food there to line it. I did take Lansparasole a few years ago but want to avoid this because they also create

It's never too late
Smoking was killing me, and on top of that I was paying a fortune to have a slow suicide, well thank God I was able to stop 12 years ago. Since then my life changed so much, I did put extra weight on but more about that later. Before I stopped smoking I was smoking 180 cigarettes a week, which I couldn't

Look OK but be very unwell?
Hello, Sorry to return. I have had some days of feeling quite good, odd niggles, but nothing too much. Then I have had some days of feeling awful, Yesterday was an example.......started off OK, as day wore on got terrible feelings of nausea, then the discomfort in my right side, but then gradually

Is this a suitable diet plan for weight loss?
Hi, I currently weigh 12 stone ( 168 pounds). I am 5 foot 8. I used to be size 8, however now would be size 12. I am wanting to drop at least 2 stone so I am back to 10 stone. Would eating this diet plan every day along with around 5 hours of exercise per week be enough to lose me 2 stone? Breakfast

Result was they checked for all viruses & bacteria that are treatable, nothing showed up. He said the usual level of faecal

Anyone who cured GERD by going low carb, then was able to go back on carbs without the reflux starting again?
So I've had chronic acid reflux for three months now. 24/7, with nights being much more severe than days, but I have it also in the mornings. This started completely out of the blue, from feeling fine to suddenly having this. I speculate it have to do with being on Omeprazole for two weeks (for digestive

Hello, I am a 57yr old female, who has worried about my liver health for years, and sporadically sought the attention of my GP. I am an ex Nurse, and as the old saying goes, a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing - especially true for us because we tend to think every slightest ache or pain will

Newbie - not yet diagnosed, looking for advice
I'm not diagnosed but am looking for advice on what I should expect (based on experience over the last few years I'm not expecting a diagnosis to be easy!) Several years I've been tired, chills, heavy frequent menstrual bleeding, weight gain and loss, headaches, blurred vision, my hair seems to be moulting
