Fecal Calprotectin

Thank you for the welcome. I have been ill with terrible diarrhea for two weeks. Lost half a stone. Loperamide didn't help. GP wanted sample of what I produced to send to the lab. Result was they checked for all viruses & bacteria that are treatable, nothing showed up. He said the usual level of faecal calprotectin is between 10 - 50 mine is 679. He said that is an indication of Inflammatory bowel disease. I have a few autoimmune conditions including Coeliac and on a strict gluten free diet. He wants another sample from me in about two weeks. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experience with their faecal calprotectin. What can I do to improve? I'm frightened about eating much as I don't want this problem to start up again.
