Its my turn
Usually I'm the one trying to comfort someone but this morning I can't even help myself. Feeling like a slug and just want to cry. So much to say but don't know how to condence it. Feel like I'd be just rambling. When I woke up this morning I didn't want to face the day. I get up, have coffee and then

Complete blockage, need TURP
2 months after HIFU, I woke up and went to pee and only drops came out. This went on for a few days then I went to urgent care. Skipping past the horrible care by doctors in Vegas, I returned to my HIFU doctor in Los Angeles who scoped it and found a blockage and recommended TURP. That is scheduled for

Who am I again
Hi everyone :-) Well were do I start. I have always been on my own even when with others, it's hard to be isolated when in a group of people or in a family environment but I am and have always been that way. I was always the brunt of others harsh word and never the one asked to go out and do the usual

Starting New Meds
Finally! After being on the same Anti-Depressant - Effexor for over 8 years and it not really working for the last 2 years my newer Dr. has started me on Cymbalta. I am hoping this helps, I have heard good things about Cymbalta from people I know that suffer the same issues that I do but I have also

I figured it out. Than something else happened.
I figured it out. How I have so much pent up anger. I don't know how but I turn my sadness into anger. I guess it is easier to let out I don't know. I just got emotional and decided to put my headphones in, crank it up as high as I can and lay face down on my bed. And I realized that when I got sad I

bad night
Good morning. I was going to journal, but I thought I would write things out here instead. I have not been able to get a good night's sleep in over a week. In a nutshell, my husband has been out of work since December, I was in the hospital recently and am unable to work again, we cannot pay our bills

Need help with Lupron question
As some of you know I’m Gleason 3+4. Will have TURP in August and then 28 sessions of proton therapy starting in November. My close friend was diagnosed 4+3 shortly after. He’s being told by 3 oncologists (IMRT/proton) that it would be best to do 4 months of Lupron plus the radiation. Other testing

Vit B1 absorption
Can anyone tell me how I can improve my absorption of Vit B1 and maybe keep it in my system a bit longer? I am using it to repel mosquitoes. Although scientifically there is no reason why it should work, according to some people it definitely does and that's good enough for me. I started taking it 6

B12d, ADHD or both
You wait for a bus and....... My daughter has been having concentration issues so we organised some testing for ADHD. In the mean time while they were dragging their feet, I got a blood test to rule anything out. Results come back low B12. Without going into the disgraceful treatment from the NHS,

TURP and Enzalutamide advice
Hi everyone, I'm dealing with widespread metastatic PCa at 50 years old, diagnosed last Aug. I'm on Enzalutamide now (plus Lupron since Oct) but not responding very much after almost 3 months 😔. PSA still rising (84 last week, up from 72)... also... really feel like crap a lot of the time on this second-line

Recovery Update on Fathers Day
During the date of my RTI, 04/08/14 I was a Semi-pro footballer, with my Wife Married since 2006. When I was discharged from Hospital in 2016 we carried out a vowel renewal as we were married for 10 years at the aforementioned date, I can not mention how happy & proud of her support that I’ve received

Another one of those days
Depression really sucks! I’ve been on so many meds and now I’m going to try Pristiq. I’ve been on Effexor for a few years. It gave me asthesia. I know I’ve got so many things to be grateful for. I have a loving daughter, her grandparents are such a huge support. Today I took my daughter to the dermatologist

Weight loss - freaking out
My father lost almost 4kg in one month, with no change in diet, apetite or treatment, I'm freaking out. Of course I will make a doctors appointment the first thing tomorrow morning but I'm so scared. He is skinny by nature: only had 68kg, now to 64kg. History: diagnosed during turp procedure in Semptember
