Weight loss - freaking out

My father lost almost 4kg in one month, with no change in diet, apetite or treatment, I'm freaking out. Of course I will make a doctors appointment the first thing tomorrow morning but I'm so scared. He is skinny by nature: only had 68kg, now to 64kg.

History: diagnosed during turp procedure in Semptember 2016. Gleason 4 + 3= 7. Psa 5.2. Casodex 150mg for 4 months, than down to Casodex 50mg. PSA in May 0.6 (up from 0.52 in January).

Has he ever had any CT Scan or NM Bone Scan for comparison or baseline purposes since his original diagnosis? They might help in determining if a weight loss may be due to disease progression or to some other cause(s).

I would just come right out and ask the doctors "What are the possible causes of this relatively sudden weight loss? How can we confirm or rule out such causes? What are our Options?"

Just some thoughts, ...

As baseline he had just ultrasound of abdomen and x-ray scans when diagnosed. I will most def. demand scans now. It is middle of the night here and worrying keeps me away from sleeping.
