If Cancer is on both sides of family & sudden heart attacks & strokes is there a genetic Test that can catch problems early as suspect may be in line before I go dolally like Late Mother with severe Alzheimers[ Multi infant dementia]. I need to get my life in order as had a cardiac arrest 12 ago where had to be revived 3x with a stent .I have just been given a cocktail of drugs with no planning, support or therapy or diagnosis .So have had to self fund .I am single solo 72 yrs old .
My underlying disability spina bifida was found in my 20s because of chronic cutis acute 3 weekly needing targeted antibiotics has been deliberately ignored by unreasonable policy of Cuts making worse the problems & it has worsened into spasms causing lipo-lymphoedema stage 2 also with no provision unless you have breast cancer as tends to be found mostly in Women of a certain age .I am 72 .Surely if it could be lymph one there should be a Specialist directing instead of McMillan Nurses operating from a hospice dealing with only secondary breast cancer side effects . I have been told to ignore the risk re endometriosis & the utis when Late mother had the hysterectomy then the dementia with TIA s - I have the neurological symptoms such as abnormal EEG , neurogenic bladder , continence issues urgency & reflux as can't catheterise .It has been proved my temporary spinal spasticity spasms & kyphosis relate to sepsis/pyuria and the spina bifida why then have I been made to go from pillar posts with no assistance except the preventative when my movement & function so poor I have heart failure because of breathing /dysponea/PAH & water? retention.
