Graves - Dental issues & blood tests
Finally I am getting these done and I am pleased about this as I can't afford private tests (unless I choose not to eat/pay household bills) but I did ask if the Haematinics one includes all
vitamins
/minerals like Vitamin D/phosphates as I have been low in these before.

New Unproven and Untested Concept.
I noticed that in online videos many are touting higher amounts of different water soluble
vitamins
that those amounts recommended by the medical field and experiencing better results than the patient of the medical field. I trust their experiences somewhat.

Adrenal/Cortisol issues- help please
I have consistently been working on optimising
vitamins
since last year and this has sadly made no difference. my blood pressure is always low, especially on thyroid meds.

In order to complete the test I stopped all
vitamins
for over a week to ensure the blood work was not affected by supplements. I am wondering what your take on my results would be? Any pointers would be really appreciated. Do I need to try t3?

Fed Up
On a positive note new doctor did do my B
vitamins
which I’ve never had done before. Anyway they said they are all normal. I’m feeling terribly achy in my legs and finger’s especially first thing in the morning and can’t lose weight so my BMI is higher than it should be.

Other than prescribing
vitamins
and minerals they thought are good to maintain the disease. Perhaps I should dig deeper and make an appointment with MPN specialist or other Naturopath regarding this... Before I was diagnosed I trained on athletic level.

Iron blood test results are back, please could you take a look for me?
I have begun taking Iggenus B
Vitamins
to increase my Folate. (After this blood test) One more question if I could please …… I would like to try some T3 medication but what levels do my Ferritin and Folate have to be at before I can begin taking T3?

Help with T3
I also asked whether there are any
vitamins
that I can take, he has prescribed a high level Vitamin D tablet as my Homocysteine levels were also triple what they should be. He has advised to take the tablet weekly. Any advice and reassurance would be really helpful. Thank you.

Prescribed levothyroxine at last!
I must stay that since working on optimizing my
vitamins
as per the info on this site, especially the ferritin and B12, I have started to feel better than I have done for a long time. Thanks everyone. It's good to know you're there.🥰

Vitamin/supplements
Can I ask what
vitamins
would be useful to try to support healthy thyroid function. I know iron, and vitamin B12 are important, I wondered if a specific Thyriod supplement was useful. I found this one, does anyone else take this? https://heynutrition.com/products/thyroid-complex?

can you tell me what the best brand to take for low folate
the result for my
vitamins
were Folate. 2.38ugl ( 3.89 - 19.45) Vitamin b12 69.5 pmol/L ( 37.5 - 150) Vitamin D 67 ( 50-200) I did get my folate check with my doctors, after I told them of my private blood test but they came back just in range, and they wouldn’t prescribe me folate

Lupron unjection not reducing PSA
For 3 years I treated myself with
vitamins
and nutrients. Kept my psa down until I had a kidney stone operation and for some odd ball reason loss control of the psa after the operation, it shot up to 103, thats when I was put on casadex. Casadex dropped the psa to 5.

Vitamin Deficiciencies and lack of GP support
We requested that a full blood test be taken to determine any deficiencies in
vitamins
B1,B3,B6,B12,D3,K2,Potassium, Copper and Magnesium. When the results came back, B1,B3,B6,K2 and copper were missing.
