My folate deficiency merry-go-round.
In between, it is low
vitamin
D
. 😒 This time l also have elevated AST (liver enzymes) and wonder if the two are connected. I haven't drunk alcohol for about 2 years, and l eat a lot of folate rich food, so l don't understand what is happening.

Advice Please
The test was at 9:30 am. 3/1/24 TSH 0.89 (0.27-4.2) Free thyroxine 19.5 (11.5-22.7) Free T3 5.9 (3.3-6.1) I also had
vitamin
D
tested because I trying to find out what is causing the back ache and muscle spasms. Still waiting for that results.

Blood Pressure Medication
Vitamin
B12 -150 (37.5 - 180)
Vitamin
D
- 260 (50 - 250) ( this is only on 1/2 dose of Vit D drops) Ferritin 97.8 (30 - 650) Folate - failed (probably as this was only a finger prick test - I don't usually do this, but wrong test kit sent). Thank you for any help.

What does it mean
Got results from my bloods on Monday, I don't understand anything, I need folic acid- was already on it, need more apparently, I thought that folic acid was for pregnant woman and it's being put in bread,
Vitamin
D
- I have very little- I think that's because I don't go outside enough?

Vitamins/supplements for cll?
I found out AFTER I was diagnosed with CLL that low
vitamin
D
is a risk factor for getting CLL. I have had chronically low
vitamin
D
even though I worked outside for half my working life. I was haphazard in supplementing the past 30 years.

Is it Just Me????
It's Monday morning, I just gobbled down my ritual of 5 pills (Nurtec, Midodrine, Lasik,
Vitamin
D
and Aspirin. Last but not least.... Copaxone Injection 😪. I think when I take my injection it makes me "hyper sensitive" - in other words: I can be "cry baby.".

How to change from T3 only to T4?
I was started on 25 then 50 and then 75 and I just gave up on my gp and endo when they told me to stop supplementing
vitamin
D
despite having a low level. Anyway my question is, how would I go about changing to 150mcg of Eutirox from 50mcg of Tiromel?

Being gas-lit: NOT Hypothyroidism, it’s Silent Reflux says Consultant Thyroid/ENT – Advice requested.
I was deficient in
Vitamin
-
D
. And so life has continued, learning from others (especially here) and the late Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield’s book, and taking a raft of vitamins & minerals. I buy in a Medichecks Advanced panel twice a year end March+Oct. However, by mid March 2024 I felt “off”.

Chat with GP. Disappointed.
Regarding my low folate, B12 and
D
. They’ve prescribed a loading dose (high
vitamin
D
) for a while. Folic acid despite me feeling like that’s useless unless I’m thinking wrong. B12 I’ll just add my supplement in. It’s just so difficult.
