Undate after endocrinologist appointment
She also said my
vitamin

deficiency is not connected to my thyroid. She didn't mention the cholesterol. She also said my
vitamin
D
deficiency will have nothing to do with malabsortion as it comes from the sun.

Poor converter hoping for better
I can increase the supplement to two per day Folate - I am more pleased with - I take Health Leads 1000ug L-methylfolate B12 - seems to have gone down slightly but I haven't been supplementing it - I'm moving onto the Thornes B complex soon
Vitamin
D
seems to have increased slightly - I've worked

When is the best time to take T3
Hi I collected my first prescription for T3 Liothyronine 20 mg today. All the instructions on the box tell me is to take one tablet a day. I read the instructions inside and they just say to take exactly as instructed by doctor or pharmacist. So does it matter when the tablet is taken or if it is

Cortisol tests
Hi, I just had my cortisol retested to see if there had been any improvement from February 2023. Since August 2023, I have been slowly titrating NDT Armour and taking vitamins, minerals and amino acids prescribed by a private thyroid Dr. My iron & B12 are good, working on increasing vit D. Very rapid weight gain, dose increase
Hi all, I first posted a few weeks ago as a new GP prescribed T3 but didn't tell me to start low and slow so I just started with 20mg of Thybon for 2 weeks and felt horrendous (so exhausted). TiggerMe suggested that my T4 wasn't optimal (neither was Vit D, Folate, Ferritin) so I stopped the T3 and

B12, folate
A couple of weeks ago spoke with the GP about getting ferritin, folate and
vitamin
D
included in the next tests, plus TSH, T3 and T4 which she agreed with. The tests were this week but only B12, TSH and T4 were included which is very annoying, plus they rescheduled the test for the afternoon.

Advice on blood results please- why no improvement in T3?
My
vitamin
D
is still bouncing around at bottom of range so I’m going to increase to 3000iu a day as I’m currently taking 2000iu, I assume that’s safe? I also had reduced Haemocrit being just under range and I’ve no idea what that means and if I should be worried?

vitamins to help thyroid
Hello, has anyone got any tips of vitamin complexes to help under active thyroid? I have recently upped my vit d, my B12 and found a complex that says it helps the body convert t4 to t3. I’ve been taking them all about two weeks and I do think that I’m less exhausted than I was. I’m hopeful that it

Hypothyroid for 30 years
I've been Hypothyroid for 30 years, I take Levothyroxine 100μg during the night - to keep it separate from all the other meds I have for other conditions. I follow the advice that certain foods are 'not helpful' for a hyperthyroid condition (Brussel sprouts, Cauliflower - which I have very occasionally
