anybody had these tests before?
Hi Everyone Long time, no post so I apologise. Since I last spoke to anyone I have been diagnosed with Osteoperosis, so fighting a number of demons. My Rheumatologist has been concerned about my ever decreasing levels of calcium despite eating calcium rich food and doubling my prescribed Calcium supplements

Early morning blood tests
I see on other posts that an early morning blood test before 09:00hrs is suggested for an accurate reading. I went to have bloods taken yesterday morning at 08:55hrs for ferritin. My phlebotomist found that my blood flow was a bit on the slow side... but ok for the lab test. She thought she might have

How should Levo dosing work - a 101 explanation needed please
sorry my brain is mush. I have read a lot of posts, tried Dr Google etc. I could do with a really basic explanation to help understand what my Endo is likely to talk about this week re: Levo dosing. what I think I know… Levo replaces what’s missing, T4. This results in lower TSH and higher T3 (assuming

Is Vit-D bad for you?
I've read some posts that say VIT-D supplementation is bad for men with PCa. Does anyone have any papers or references that support this position? Thanks, Bob

T3.. Taken at 5am, blood test 11.30🤔
PTH, Calcium,
vitamin
D
. However she did request it on the form for which I had no knowledge of, if I'd known I'd have stated I'd taken 10mg at 5am. When the endo rang yesterday (I posted what was said) she noted I was over medicating myself as my T3 was (11.4) and my TSH was( 0.05)..

The GP has only picked out low
Vitamin

and advised me to start on a daily supplement and have bloods retested in 3-6 months. However my research suggests my B12 is low as well - would that be correct? As my symptoms seem more in line with B12 issues than

What to ask Endo?
The tests in fact found I was iron deficient - ferritin 8 (15-200) and
vitamin
D
deficient - 20 (50-250). I've now been prescribed both. My B12 was also right at the bottom of the range 269(211-911) so I've started self supplementing. I suspect my Endo will again push RAI next week.

Seeking help...
Turned out it was a
vitamin
D
deficiency. A
vitamin
D
scrip and supplements fixed the problem. 2018: Fell out of tub on to butt. Three weeks later I start getting pins/needles in the feet (intermittent). This went away on its own after a while. In both of those cases I have EXTREME anxiety.

Hashimotos for Sixteen Years, Realizing I Know Next to Nothing
This is a long story, and as with so much in this "we have too much info" age, I'm probably over-responding, but, I was recently blindsided by a new health condition, and I don't fancy having it happen again if there are cues available. I've had hypothyroidism/Hashimotos for 16-17 years, at least based
