Recently diagnosed and have questions
I'm vegan but my
vitamin
D
and calcium levels are normal. They did tests for secondary causes but everything has come back normal. So I've been having a hard time coming to terms with it, seeing as I'm already doing what you're supposed to do to help. I've bought a weight vest.

Best Vit K2 Supplement UK, Anyone?
My
vitamin
D
levels, they tell me, are normal at 65. (65 what? I don't now). Basically, I know that many of you take Vitamin K2, and I will take this too, but I don't want to take a supplement with bulk fillers. Can anyone suggest a really "clean" supplement?

hypothyroidism - problems with GP
The dermatologist told me that research showed that there was a link between CSU and iron and
vitamin
D
deficiency. I was astounded to find that the annual blood tests I’ve had for 10 years don’t test for iron or vit D. My vit D levels were found to be deficient- my iron was borderline.

Blood Test Advice
The form says: FBC, Ferritin, Liver function, Thyroid function,
Vitamin
D
. At the moment I supplement with Vitamins B12, B complex, C, D, K2 and Turmeric, Selenium and Magnesium. I have stopped B complex but is there anything else I should stop before the test.

Get worse before better?
Dr K says all my levels are good, ferritin, folate and B12, I do need to keep working on my
vitamin
D
, and it is rising slowly. I’m three months into my protocol for info. And all correct cofactors, and a healthy diet.

Post-private GP update
I’ve also been instructed to carry on with my
vitamin
D
regime. So, in 8 weeks I’ll repeat my blood tests and go back to see what’s happening with the TSH levels, T4 & T3 (I’ll redo the full panel as I want to see what’s changed on the vitamin front too), and go from there.

recurring illnesses
I’ve been trying to get stable on t3/4 combination, still a way to go as last results after increasing to 10 mcg liothyronine in 2 doses were the worst yet, t3 and t4 both at bottom of range,
vitamin
D
draining away again despite supplements.
