l have my first cardiologist appointment on 16th January regarding my echocardiogram results. My GP prescribed me a 6 week course of 1 tablet per week of very high vitamin d3 due to a low vitamin d reading of a blood test done on 23rd December after I told him how tired I was still feeling. There is a lot of reputable research about vitamin D deficiency and RLs but in Australia unless you request it Vitamin D is only checked in regular blood tests with people over 70.

I have joined another vitamin D deficiency group and it appears all the same symptoms manifest themselves as in B12 deficiency. So if deficient in both, which I was, it’s going to be a tougher ride than I thought. Then there’s trying to get my gut microbiome back to normality.

I started of with underactive thyroid then vitamin D deficiency,reynard,osteoarthritis muscle and tendon weakness,copd,asthma and sticky blood and glucoma. So I am none the wiser as to whats going on. Any advice please

I have recently been to the drs and have been told I have a vitamin D and B12 deficiency we are trying to establish if there is a link between my endo or if there is something else underlying. I am on the booster loading injections for b12 and taking the highest dose for Vitamin D.

I was shocked when I saw a Doctor saying that, although not proven, there is a lot of cases like mine undiagnosed and since there is not a direct, proven correlation between all those, especially the autoimmune part, the medicine can't signal to either, related or not related to vitamin D deficiency

4 years ago my husband was admitted urgently to A&E following a limb fracture and was subsequently diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis. I have also been confirmed to have a vitamin d deficiency which I taking a 6 week 50,000 ice course for. My tsh has come back at 5.8 which they are saying is normal depsite In 2022 the last time my levels went wrong they were 5.9 they upped my thyroxine dose to 100mg .

In the last 12 months I have been diagnosed with vitamin D ,iron and b12 deficiency and been dealing with a breathing issue related to gastric problems for the last 4 years. I ended up having an iron infusion and started on b12 injections in March.
