switching/alternating Hydroxocobalamin and cyanocobalamin?
excuse my ignorance but I thought I’d check with those that know before I blindly go doing something silly. I was reading the NHS B12 pages and saw they only offer hydroxcobalamin and they suggest this lasts longer. So I’ve ordered some Pascoe to try. I have stock of cyanocobalamin and use that twice

I GAVE UP.
I will try and be short about my story. It is a snapshot of events whilst I was on Levothyroxine for more or less 25 yrs. I never felt well and was never referred to an endocrinologist. I gained weight, my hair thinned. I had problems not only with my voice, but swallowing food. I had brain fog, acute

MSA trial near completion
Hi I am new here and I have MSA. I have been searching for all the info I can find. No real drugs to even slow this. I have read B vitamins are helpful' Possible good news, recently a team from Vanderbilt University in the US released interim results from a small study of their drug ATH434

Pre and post FET advice x
hi ladies So I am due for my 2nd FET in a few weeks time. It’s a 4BB embryo and frozen transfer. I’d like to know for those of you who had successful transfers and became pregnant what did you eat and drink and what vitamins did you take prior to transfer and during which you believed helped? thanks

I was diagnosed with AF during covid. This was about 6 months after I had to have my thyroid zapped so I’m now thyroid free. After tests it was found that I had very little vitamin D, B12 and folic acid so I now have to take these daily. I was also given heart medication and a blood thinner. I never

Follow-up with haematologist
I saw my (private) haematologist last night and confessed my B12 EOD habit. It took him several minutes to come down off the ceiling and have a proper discussion with me as I made my argument: that, if I'd followed the NICE protocol I wouldn't be where I am today (mostly functioning well), I wouldn't

Doctors.... blood tests..... need I say more??
I have Hashis, Addisons and a slew of other things.... my old consultant (private not NHS) often called me a modern medical mystery! I have Addisons (PAI) but about 2 years after my diagnosis I had to have steroid injections in my spine- caused my BP to rise to dangerous levels and it's never come down

Internet Myths about Red Meat
I know that many men, egged on by well-meaning caregivers and sometimes doctors, deprive themselves of red meat. Some (non-Hindus) have an almost religious attachment to plant-based diets. I expect they will object to this article. For that reason, it goes into the weeds of what constitutes Internet

Folate
You know me, always looking for answers to try and help myself and get shot of all these horrible symptoms. I have been having a bit of a read up on folate as in what symptoms you might experience if it's too low. Tbh I am not quite sure how optimal in the range it should be but from looking back at
