An interesting observation about anxiety and constipation
I use
vitamin
C
and magnesium citrate to help the process along, but even with that, I found I was having trouble and that made me feel --- STRESSED, ANXIOUS.

Hi ! My hwp (77) diagnosed 2017. But of course with hindsight symptoms manifested earlier. Started C/L last year : 25/100 @ 3 times a day. Azilect 1 mg once a day . Walking became a really serious problem a month ago. Partly because of ongoing "sciatica" but also freezing a few times a day. Two weeks

hi all, Hubby had cold symptoms last week and tested positive, I felt ok at the time but had a faint line. Roll on 6 days I’ve had the all over aches, hot and cold sweats, pain in my throat, unbelievable sneezing and runny nose, a bit of a cough but not much. Most of that has gone except for that familiar

Great Manchester Run 10k - first run report and it's waaaay too long 😂🙈 sorry
I've only run at 3 events, 2 x 10ks and 1 x 5k, all of these organised by a very friendly local company, and set at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Fabulous fun, great animal themed medals and tee shirts! About 1200 runners. I'd watched last year's Great Manchester Run on tv and thought I'd enter; it looked

Hi I've just had a range of bloods done by my Gp as I'm feeling so tired and keep falling a sleep during the day. They all look OK apart from low end for calcium and my ggt liver one. Which could be because of antibiotics I'm permanently on for my cuti or my gallbladder which I'm waiting to be removed

Combined T4 / T3 therapy Tests
I'm on 75mg Levothyroxine and 10mg liothyrine, is it best I still take it in morning with water and
vitamin
C
wait an hr before eating and can I split T3 and take 5mg later in evening or day, does anyone else do this? Will I still need test in 6-8weeks to optimise?

Getting off Thyroxin
My last blood in April was all normal, this was the very first in 20 years to be completely normal. 20 years ago I was put onto 120mg of thyroxin after a bout of quinsy along with an intense and stressful year along with a 50lb weight gain. I know it doesn't suit everyone but I lost all my weight gain

TSH dropping, but FT4 stuck
I started levothyroxine on 10th August on 25mcg, then went up to 50mcg in September, then 75mcg Nov and I'm now alternating 75/100mcg every day. My TSH has dropped considerably, however my FT4 has got stuck at the very bottom end of normal and doesn't seem to be rising despite me increasing the dose
