I think you probably meant to post on Thyroid UK
If you are taking levo then it has quite a long half life which, in theory means that you shouldn't notice any difference for a week or so but I know people are different and I notice if I miss a dose by accident - whilst others can go months without feeling anything. You probably need to get hold of the test results that were used. to reduce the dosage - sure that TUK will ask about that - and give you advice on arguing your case - its a bit frustrating that GPs will act on test results without actually asking their patients how they feel.
