Can anyone please recommend a good non acidic vitamin C (calcium ascorbate) as ascorbic acid gives me excruciating stomach pain.

I've been using this one... it's calcium L-ascorbate which claims to be 'gut kind' I take 2-3 a day without issue... buffered is to spread out the absorption which might help you too?

I'm just wondering if you might have an H. Pylori infection. Have you been tested for this? One of the natural treatments for this seems to be buffered vitamin C.

Hi kiefer, Thanks for your reply. I did have H. Pylori years ago and was treated with the triple therapy, retested 6 weeks later and test showed all clear. I was tested again last year and was still clear. I will look into the buffered vit C as I need to add it to my vitamin regime for hypothyroidism.
