hello all. I have recently upped my dose of levi for 75mcg. I have since felt nothing but tired. I did have headaches the first 4 days but they subsided. i also seem to have gained weight since the increase in dose. What gives? Im yawning throughout the day.

That was a busy week!
last week I did run Kent 5k I was meant to have done the 10k but due to my ongoing injury problem did the 5k instead! Since the dark nights have descended I have been struggling with my fear of falling and causing more damage to my shoulder! I broke my shoulder in January and it has been classified

medConfidential Bulletin , 8th December 2023
Another bulletin that should be required reading for anyone concerned about who has access to any of their health data held by the NHS in England. I'm not sure if any of this is relevant to Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. It talks about, among other things, the National Data Opt-Out. I opted out

diabetic macular oedema or problems with blood flow to the eye
I went for my eye clinic appointment today and the doctor there said that I may not have diabetic macular oedema but a problem with the flow of blood to my eye. I am to have a fluorescein angiography to see if it is thst. An interesting appointment and I hope they can find an answer.

Recent diagnosis - Low Tension Glaucoma.
Field
vision
test showed
loss
of
vision
in affected eye. Pressures 16/17 in both eyes. Corneas are apparently very thin. Referred to GP. Waiting time to see an NHS consultant is 8 to 12 months. Have decided to pay for a private consultation to confirm diagnosis and to plan a route forward.

I have
vision
loss
, severe photo phobia, general pain and I too have a returning problem of a pussy eye. I have to keep my eye covered a lot, tons of product, and wash it out. I use antibiotic eye drop when I have this discharge but it just takes it down doesn't get rid of it. .

Care after SLT
I have no
vision
loss
and I'm 51. This procedure and subsequent trials of both Latanoprost and Tiopex both failed to bring my pressures down sufficiently. They stayed at 26. My consultant suggested an SLT (360) and I had it done there and then in both eyes at my appointment last Tuesday.

I am currently awaiting bariatric surgery & ive just found out I have angina. Will this rule me out? Would it be advisable for me to go ahead with the surgery? Has anyone had the surgery with heart problems? Thank you x

tamoxifen and thyroxine
if you started tamoxifen, how much did thyroid bloods/ dose need to change? I know tamoxifen causes fatigue and foggineess but also wondering if it’s thyroid too as I know it can interfere with things. I do have a blood tests in a couple of weeks.

Feeling a little disillusioned about TTFD and High Dose Thiamine (HDT):
My opinion: You can watch videos that say other B1’s are better; they are more powerful; they cross the BBB; etc. but you cannot find much (if any) info on long-term positive results [success stories]. Best to leave Benfothiamine, TTFD, Sulbutiamine, etc. alone and stay with what works for other people

v non-invasive treatment may offer significant relief to and restore gait function in patients with neurological disorders
To this end, the clinical researchers from Japan recruited twenty-three patients with PD or Parkinson’s syndrome. All study participants were randomly assigned to receive either the active treatment or a “sham” treatment that mimics the active treatment but does not offer any therapeutic benefit.
