hello all. I have recently upped my dose of levi for 75mcg. I have since felt nothing but tired. I did have headaches the first 4 days but they subsided.

i also seem to have gained weight since the increase in dose. What gives? Im yawning throughout the day.

I had this too, stick with it, things do improve. Weeks 3-4 of an increase make me feel awful. By week 7-8 I’m ready for the next increase. I put on 11kg between 25mcg and 125mcg which steadily came off over 12 months and has stabilised. One step at a time, don’t count calories or reduce fat intake, your body needs all the help it can get. Some benefit from gluten/dairy free. Ensure Vit B B12 folate and ferritin are tip top. 🙏🌱

You may experience a range of symptoms Fakrah, as your body adjusts to an increase in Levothyroxine, but go easy on yourself, as you will most likely need several increases in dosage before you reach an optimal level for you.

Your latest results posted 9 days ago highlight that you also need to work on improving Vitamin D. As SlowDragon suggested, you also need to test folate and ferritin, as having these optimal will support your thyroid health.

Tsh- 11.5(0.27-4.2)

T4- 9.2(11-26)

Freet3- 3.8(3.1-6.8)

Anti tpo- 6(below 34).

B12 -619(191-663)

Vit d -34 (above 50)
