Please help. Im loosing my mind with insomnia
I feel like a broken record so I'll try not to make this long. 20 years of thyroid issues. 13 years of Levo. Usual story. Insomnia being biggest issue. Can't take anymore. Yes i've tried EVERYTHING from oils to baths, no tv or screens, supplements ........ - I know its my thyroid. It gets better

Female Testosterone Replacement Users
My endo has suggested I replace very low levels of testosterone with Androfeme, to complement my existing HRT package of Lenzetto and Utrogestan. After learning Androfeme costs £150.00 upward, and that my NHS GP already has female patients supplementing testosterone, I approached him to take on my prescription

Ross vs Tissue/Mechanical Valve
Hi, I am due to have an aortic
valve
replacement
this year, I'm 38. I'm considering the Ross procedure due to the long term prognosis vs. a tissue valve. Personally I'm wary of the mechanical valve as I don't want to visit an anti coag. clinic every week.

Fybro the answer to everything?
Has any one found that when you go to your specialist and you tell them about a joint pain they automatically reply with, "well you have fybo so..." This has happened to me so many times. One example being that I was getting issues with my left shoulder. The pain was like nothing I've had before. It

While I remember….
While I was sharing a four bay ward post hip replacement, two ladies - who had a total knee replacement and the other a half knee replacement - told me that although, like me, they had a spinal block plus sedation they both could hear the sawing and hammering and what the surgeons were saying…. but

I’m currently on prostap3 and tibolone hrt. On 2nd injection about mid way through the 10 weeks and I’ve felt so bad this week constant hot flushes day and worse at night( far worse than have been), bad headaches, feeling sick. Knee replacement soon & on 8mgs pred
I am finally in the pipeline for one of my knee replacements in 6-8wks time. I have been reducing very slowly from 15mg and currently on 8mg. I have decided I will not reduce further until well after my knee surgery. I put on 6 stone in 6 months when I started pred, this has impacted on my knee pain

Another useless Endo appointment - anti anxiety drugs are apparently the answer to chronic insomnia?!
Having waited a year for my follow up appointment, my t/con with the Endo was pointless. I have recently posted re 20 years of chronic insomnia, sorry I’m unsure how to tag that post. It included my blood test results. She claims waking at 1-2am is anxiety, and wants me to take anti anxiety drugs.

next steps
hi, I have recently been diagnosed with grade 4 endo. I was today told even surgery won’t help and even if choose it it’s an 18 month wait and major surgery. One of the medical options is the analogue injections, potentially with hrt. Can anyone offer me any advice or experience from their own journeys

Money! money! money!
Spending too much while depressed. Spoke with mental health professionals. They came up with HRT. If balancing me would cause me to spend less would be great but I don't think it will serriousluy help. Stepping back a little - ie not spending right away but waiting alittle was a very good suggestion

First BFN today 😢 - trying to decide on back to back or a break.
Although I was expecting the news, it was heartbreaking to hear the words "I'm sorry..." and have our suspicions confirmed that there was failed implantation. We are now faced with making a decision in quick time as our Dr has signed us off to start our next Frozen cycle as soon as I have the withdrawal

Before I knew I had ataxia my Dr. said a knee replacement was necessary. How do I know what is causing my pain and balance problems?
