Very newly diagnosed PBC still undergoing testing
Hello all! I'm a 59 year old female living in the Florida Panhandle Haven't had any serious issues of note, arthritis and joint replacements aside. I began with an overall itch in Sept of 2021 and didn't worry too much until about a week later, when I was sleep deprived and torn up from scratching,

Introduction
hi everyone, I’m 50, in perimenopause and struggling big time with declining cognition, adhd hormonal issues. I currently take adderall XR which I find helpful but it wears off quickly. Would like to use hormone replacement But Dr says no…I’m still menstruating every month.

Wayfarin and angiogram
Has anybody experienced problems getting their INR to a level required for angiogram to be done. I am due to have one on Thursday and expected to have an INR between 2.0 - 3.0 (it's currently 4.0). My health centre and the hospital both say each other are responsible for managing my Warfarin dosing!

Caffeine / pregabalin / conflicting advice
I am under Professor Walker at Queen Square, a specialist for RLS. I am on Pregabalin (300mg before bedtime). But also on Citalopram for HRT, which he said should be switched to Bupropion as it worsens RLS. Unfortunately he did not give an amount, so my GP had to phone the "hot line" to a bank of

Help with getting medication
Hi so this was my blood results a month ago. GP told me I’m sub clinical and even though I have symptoms because they’d just prescribed me HRT because of aching, anxiety, tiredness, hot flushes in bed they said I had to try that first to see if it worked. Anyway the hot flushes have eased but nothing

Apparently Total T3 doesn't matter?
After a long battle of getting the GP's to check T3, finding it was low and them increasing levo (from 75mg to100mg) - my results are TSH 1.3 (range 0.23-5.6) Free T4 - 18 (range 9-23) Free T3 - 4 (range 3.1-6.8) Total T3 - 1.2 (range 1.3-3.1) Vit D 53 (range 50-139) I've lost my previous results

HRT, any thoughts please
I spoke to a doctor about trying HRT for my menopause symptoms. He said because my blood pressure was high, it's now normal using medicine and walking and because l am over weight. I am at a group and have lost 3 stone. He said he wouldn't recommend it for me because of increases in breast cancer, also

doc wants to lower my thyroxine
hi started HRT in oct and have put on a stone already. I felt it was possibly affecting my thyroxine levels and felt sure I needed more. She’s just called to say she wants me to reduce to 100 (from 125). Also iron is low and I’ve to take a pill for that. I occasionally get a little anxious (nothing

Help interpreting results & likelihood of diagnosis if I saw a private practitioner.
Good afternoon, I’m at my wit’s end and would very much appreciate help interpreting recent blood tests and symptoms. I previously posted a few weeks back with details of private tests carried out with Monitor my Health on 24/1/23. They were as follows: TSH 4.74 mu/L (0.27 - 4.2) FT4 13.9 pmol/
