What Are Vaccines?
While smallpox is the only infectious disease to date that has been eliminated globally by
vaccination
, vaccines have reduced the burden of many other infectious diseases such as polio, measles, mumps, and pertussis.

Tinnitus spike - covid booster/flu vacc
I have my flu
vaccination
coming up and am just wondering if anyone has had an issue with that too and tinnitus spikes. I have always had a flu jab with no ill affects. But I’m not quite in a place to take on an additional reaction at the moment. Thanks.

Grumpy me
I have a lovely cleaner who comes twice a week but she absolutely steadfastly refuses to have the vaccine. To be fair to her, the way her life is if it will go wrong then it happens to her so in a way I understand her reluctance, plus she is well on the side of the anti-vaxers and how it is an infringement

Covid anyone?
For Christmas I received a positive Covid result. I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I had an inflamed spine from a long car ride. So i was on solumedrol 1000 mg once a month and PT(My DMT Copaxone). This was working for me. On December 20th another intravenous solumedrol. I became fatigued and had

SHINGLES VACCINATION
Hashimotos auto immune illness doesn't seem to get a mention when there is a discussion of auto-immune illness & viruses,auto-immune illness &
vaccination
(except on here!) For instance, people with RA are advised to make sure they are offered the non-live Shingrix.

Hopefully a happy new year for all
Just a rambling, approaching the new year again and realizing that I am close to a 5 year survival person. Met a man who is with a friend that has been surviving for over 23 years, he had cryogenic treatments twice, on and off ADT, chemo a few times. He kinda watches his diet and my friend which is

When is a cold just a cold?
Hi I have RA and am on weekly BENEPALI injections. Had a multi generational meet up with various family over Christmas. I am vaccinated. Had what I thought was a booster in early November but have since had a letter indicating that was a 3rd injection and I should have a 4th in 6 months time. Anyway

Very sick after booster/flu jabs together
I was told to get a flu jab at a
vaccination
centre. Very unhappy. So I went to vac centre last week and had both at same time. Within 6 hours I felt quite unwell. I thought it would pass in a few days. That night I spent the whole night absolutely freezing cold. Pain all over. Bones hurt.

Covid booster
I have heard that the vaccine for vulnerable patients differs from the one being used generally, but when I mentioned this to the nurse administering my flu
vaccination
this morning, she didn't know what I was talking about!

Severe pain with carpal tunnel syndrome no medic support.
So I’m grateful to be 32 weeks pregnant tomorrow after losing our daughter at 20 weeks pregnant last year and 2 early miscarriages that followed her loss. We have a 2 and half year old daughter after 7 year struggle. I had CTS in my pregnancy with my 2 and a half year old daughter but it was manageable
